Students should have finished reading the novel Cue for Treason for tomorrow’s class.

Geography 421:

We have recently started learning about global warming and today and tomorrow students will be watching the movie An Inconvenient Truth and completing an assignment that goes with it.

Students are reminded that the due date for their Wonders of the World slideshow is: January 25.

Canadian Studies 401:

Students are currently working on their city planning assignments.

Students are reminded that the due date for their Canadian city slideshow is: January 25.

Grade 9 English:

Today we read chapter 17, and students need to complete the ch. 16/17 questions and terms for homework this evening.

As well, students are reminded to get their Cue for Treason ch. 8-15 quiz signed.

December 5, 2011

Grade 9 English:

Students are completing chapter activities for chapters 12/13.  I will be collecting students work for chapters 8 – 15 most likely at the end of the week. 

Grography 421:

Any students that did not finish the chapter 13 assignment are to complete it for homework this evening.  We started chapter 14 today and are learning about soil and vegetation regions in Canada. 

Canadian Studies 401: 

Students have started their final evaluation assignment.  They will be given 1 class a week in the computer lab to work on it.  They are to choose a Canadian city and create a tourism slideshow to attract visitors to the city.

Grade 9 English:

Students are reminded to get their Cue for Treason ch. 1-7 quiz signed by a parent or guardian and return to Ms. Breedon tomorrow or Wednesday.

Students have read chapters 8 and 9 and are now working on the questions and vocabulary activities that go with these chapters.  Tomorrow they will receive the chapter 8/9 writing assignment.

Canadian Studies 401:

Today students did some research on a country of their choice, and they will be completing a tourism brochure on their country. 

Tomorrow they will be finishing their posters celebrating multiculturalism.

Grade 9 English:

All students should have read up to chapter 7 and completed all questions and activities for these chapters.  Tomorrow all 6/7 activities should be handed in to me. 

Students have spent 2 days in the computer lab doing some research on Elizabethan women and today they worked on a summary.  Tomorrow students will be starting a chapter 1-7 review. 

Geography 421:

This week students are in the process of presenting their midterm assignments.  The ones that have been presented so far have been really well done!  Students will be working on their chapter 12 assignment when the presentations are complete. 

Canadian Studies 401:

Students are discussing what makes Canada such a great place to live and the different dynamics of people living in Canada.
