Language Arts 7D, 7F and 7G:
Independent Novel Study # 2 is now due.
I will be going over Independent Novel Study # 3 with each class this week, before the break. It has been uploaded into the Google classroom for each class. The due date is June 10th.
Social Studies 8A and 8C:
8A has completed chapter 8 in the text, and moved on to chapter 9. Any students who have not handed in their chapter 8 questions, should do so asap.
8C will have a little more class time to complete their chapter 8 questions, and then will be moving onto chapter 9.
For chapter 9, there will be a set of questions to complete (at the beginning of the chapter), and an assignment at the end of the chapter.
Language Arts 7D:
*Students should be working on their Independent Novel study assignment. The assignment has been uploaded to the Google classroom and the due date is MARCH 11th. Students will have 1 class a cycle (Day 5, periods 7 and 8) to work on it, and should also be working on it at home.
This class has finished with their persuasive unit. They presented their commercials, and each student received their rubric for their persuasive writing piece, and had time to use the feedback to improve on their piece, and resubmit it.
We are now moving on to a unit on summarizing.

This class is almost finished of their persuasive unit. They presented their commercials, and each student received their rubric for their persuasive writing piece, and had part of a class to use the feedback to improve on their piece. They will have 1 more class to work on this, and then resubmit it.
Then we will be moving on to a unit on summarizing.

This class is finishing typing their good copies of their persuasive writing pieces. Today was their second (and final) class with the chromebooks to type them, and most students have already submitted them through the Google classroom. The due date is Wednesday, February, 13th. We will be finishing up our persuasive unit by writing and presenting commercials for the product that students used for their advertisements.
